FRUITS OF YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

The scripture for today encourages us to be generous. In this and the preceding chapter, Apostle Paul urges the church in Corinth to support the suffering church in Jerusalem. In this verse, he highlights an essential biblical theme: the sovereignty of God (His Divine Provision), God is the ultimate giver, providing both the seed and the bread itself. In other words, God enables the giver to give. If God offers the seed of a harvest of grain, He will undoubtedly provide and multiply all the resources required for a bountiful harvest of good deeds, which is our fruitfulness.
